The Mormon Corporation is very proud in demonstrating how much it gives to charity.  Recently it announced that the LDS "Church" has given 1.2 billion in donations. (Most commentators say 1.4bn) That sounds impressive, but that is spread over the years 1985 to 2011. 25 YEARS AND 1.2 BILLION.

That means that is gives out a mere 48-50 million a year.  Compare this with the Salvation Army and Catholic Charity Services (1.6 Billion)) or World Vision (634 million) IN ONE YEAR ALONE.
Given that there are supposedly 14 million mormons, that means that each one contributes something like $3.40 each per year, or 28 cents per month.

Every month every mormon fasts for two days. The money that would have been spent on food must go to the church.  That money is tagged for the needy (ie, charity)  I spoke to a NiVanuatu Mormon Elder who says that if you calculate the rice, tinned fish and other bits that make a meal, it adds up to about $10USD (1000VT) a day.  So that is $20 each month he contributes.  He is an average local although educated.  Let us take worst case and say that he family only givesnwhat they spend on rice only.  For a Nivanuatu family that typically eat rice as a staple diet, and they each eat about $1 a day or more each, that means they would be giving a minimum of $2 a month to the corporation.  28 cents to the needy.  So what happens to the remaining $1.72?

When one considers that The LDS makes an estimated 7 billion a year in tithes and only gives out 48 million to the community, therein lies one of the greatest shames in history.
More on this later.  Including what Mormon Inc demands from its members.  You will be sickened at best and horrified at best.
